Cheat Sheet Today respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This policy explains how we handle copyright complaints under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and similar laws.
1. Our Content
The Service includes original content, compilations, and organization of technical references that are protected by copyright and other laws. Unauthorized copying, scraping, mirroring, or redistribution is prohibited.
2. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Notice)
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice with the following:
- Your name and contact information (email and address)
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the material you believe is infringing and where it is located (URL(s))
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
3. Counter-Notification
If your content was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification including:
- Your name, address, and contact information
- Identification of the material removed and its prior location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts where you reside (or where we are located) and that you will accept service of process from the complainant
- Your physical or electronic signature
4. Repeat Infringers
We may terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
